When the advice given stops us from going deep within

Sometimes, when we are a bit lost in life with whatever it is that we are going through, it can be tempting to follow someone’s advice and example in order to find back some structure and stability. When there is chaos in our mind, following someone else’s path and ideas can, momentarily, feel like a welcome relief and might not always seem harmful. However, when the advice given stops us from going deep within, we are then stepping away from connecting with our own authentic self and with what we truly need for healing and growth as the individual that we are.  

Not every source of advice is healthy

This is why it is very important to be aware that, unfortunately, not every councillor, therapist, healer, reader or support group has the right intentions. When we are in a vulnerable place, it can be difficult to discern whether someone is a healthy source of advice and experience or not. When you are going through a Twin Flame experience, you are bound to have difficult, confusing, lonely and painful moments. Finding healthy support and guidance during those times can be a real challenge when your emotions are already all over the place.

But the whole purpose of this journey, your OWN spiritual development through coming back to who YOU are as your genuine authentic self, means that good advice always needs to centre around learning to listen to your own heart and soul. That is where you will find what it is that YOUR Twin Flame Journey needs to find forward movement and positive change. Being a Twin Flame means hard work, going very deep within and daring to find out where you are not allowing yourself to be the real you. Therefore, make sure you only connect with others who kindly guide you back to less fear of expressing who you are and of how you want to experience YOUR (spiritual) life.
